To improve air quality, Antwerp's city centre and the left Bank are a low-emission zone (LEZ). The most polluting vehicles are no longer allowed to enter the city. Be sure to take into account the stricter rules that have been in force since 1 January 2020. Avoid a fine and always check your vehicle before you come to Antwerp.
